Sub-Assemblies
IMP Aerostructures maintains assembly process approvals from many of the leading industry OEM’s, such as Boeing Bombardier, Bell Helicopter, Airbus. The assembly services are offered to both our internal production and as a sub-contract service to other industry providers.
From the installation of standard hardware, nutplates and fasteners to the aerodynamic sealing of major sub-assemblies, IMP Aerostructures has the capability and approvals to support most industry requirements. Our approvals include electrical conductivity testing, click stud fasteners, and sealing; and our assembly technicians are certified to the highest standards. Using a Cell based manufacturing process with detailed work instructions, IMP Aerostructures can service all of you high mix, low volume assembly requirements.
Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)
Our CNC Machining capabilities are supported with inspection and testing equipment which includes a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) to increase efficiency in the assembly and manufacturing process.
