Heat Treatment

Integral to the manufacture of many aluminium fabricated components, IMP Aerostructures maintains NADCAP approved solution heat treatment and precipitation hardening capability. This also includes material hardness, conductivity and tensile testing.

Commercial Bonded and Composite Fabrication

Utilizing a solution heat treatment and drop bottom furnace, IMP Aerostructures has the capability to anneal and temper all aluminium sheet metal components. Following final part forming the facilities has the capabilities to take the components to their final temper and to qualify the products through hardness conductivity and tensile testing in our industry approved materials testing lab.

IMP Aerostructures Heat Treatment and Heat-Aging

With its environmentally controlled process line capabilities, including heat treatment utilizing salt baths, drop-down furnaces and heat-age furnaces, IMP Aerostructures has the flexibility to use various chemical processes, which enables us to set related process parameters and to diversify applicable application methods.
