The IMP Aerostructures team boasts the experience and knowledge to manage all of your components and assembly needs. With engineering experience that ranges from legacy engineering in support of the CH47 Chinook to the latest model based definition applied to the Global 7500, IMP has the experience and the tools to deliver.
IMP Aerostructures has four decades of experience in handling engineering data that ranges from basic blueprint through to the latest Catia engineering model based designs. Project experience includes the digitization of legacy Mylar and drawings which enabled the development of Catia based tool designs for structural assemblies. Today we manage engineering data more than 20,000 products, servicing customers around the globe.
Through collaboration with our customer’s Engineering Teams and with the fabrication, testing and/or seeking approval to various customer specification, IMP Aerostructures supports, and will continue to support, our customers’ new programs.
Projects that take Legacy Engineering and convert it to Model Based Definition Engineering
As aircraft platforms continue to develop further enhancements to the final customer, IMP participates in the development of the projects, from the time the engineering is released, whether it represents legacy drawings and mylars that require conversion to today’s technologies and fabrication processes, to handling the current Model Based products for fabrication and completion. IMP has the broad range of capability to handle these programs.
